ABOUT ME
My name is Mitchel Wong and I'm a freelance composer and sound designer for video games, as well as a Co-Organizer of Game Audio Boston. Besides helping organize my own meetup I frequent just about every game dev meetup in Boston, making me likely 2 degrees separated from any given dev in the city or possibly the state.

Before returning to my hometown I went to Ithaca College, where I earned a Bachelors in Music. I have performed with the Charles River Wind Ensemble and the Longwood Symphony, and I regularly record at Berklee School of Music. Besides music and video games I am also passionate about anime, martial arts, education, and cooking.

I have a firm belief that video game music should be memorable & singable, be stylistically distinct, and have emotional impact. It is with these philosophies that I write all my compositions.
I also conducted an orchestra dedicated to performing video game music! You can find the videos of these recordings for Chrono Cross and Undertale, the latter of which has almost 800k views!

Also I compete in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and I'm the #1 solo K Rool main in MA.

Please feel free to contact me to tell me about YOU and about making games together. I am extremely communicative and timely. I would love to get to know you and your game, and help give it the audio it desereves.
